By the skin of their teeth

Well, the budget passed and so did the ammendment. BC isn't looking so insignificant anymore in the world of Canadian politics is it. It's quite funny really: the fate of the Liberal government was in the hands of an MP from Surrey... Actually, I guess it was in the hands of the Speaker of the House, but his job is to vote for what is best for the country (but not necessarily along party lines), so there was really no suspense there... all eyes were on Chuck Cadman.

This whole thing is quite a dilemna; who do you support? A government that is corrupt and using our tax dollars for their own purpose; or, an opposition that has hopped into bed with a party whose soul purpose is to tear Canada apart? It really is the lesser of two evils...
